The Domaine de Boischampt : reinventing itself<\/h2>\n\n

The Domaine de Boischampt links its history to the one of the Juli\u00e9nas terroir. If its buildings date back to the seventeenth century<\/strong>, The Domaine having been created in 1642, the wine tradition here dates back to the Roman conquest. The name of Juli\u00e9nas coming from Julius Caesar and his Roman legions who would have stopped to quench their thirst during the Gallic Wars.<\/p><\/div><\/div>

The Domaine de Boischampt<\/strong> takes full advantage of its heritage<\/strong>. With 14 hectares of vines<\/strong> and its blue stones<\/strong> typical of Juli\u00e9nas, the same as found on the famous C\u00f4te du Py in Morgon.<\/p>\n

Taken over in 2018<\/strong> by a team of passionate men and women<\/strong>, the Domaine de Boischampt has entered its conversion to certified organic farming.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>

North of beaujolais appelations<\/strong>, a unique terroir with a favourable climate<\/h2>\n

Historic, but also privileged. If the vines flourish here it is thanks to a particularly mild temperate climate<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Neighbouring the famous vineyards of Burgundy, our vines have the full advantage of a favourable microclimate and a particular draining soil which offer a great diversity.<\/p>\n

The wines that are produced reveal a wide range of flavours and aromas<\/strong>, subtle combinations of the plot, its climate, its vintage and our know-how … all the magic of<\/strong>\ngreat wines.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>

A sure future for exceptional wines<\/h2>\n

Having begun the conversion to Organic Farming in 2019, the Domaine de Boischampt wines will be fully certified by an authorized authority by 2023 as four years are needed to turn a traditional vineyard into an organic one. A new impetus driven by new ideas, new ambitions and values that already guide the restructuring choices made by those with experience<\/strong>. In short, progress serving the expression of terroirs.<\/p>\n
